Networks

The Peace Union of Finland is a member in several networks and coalitions working for peace and disarmament. We cooperate also with other Finnish organisations who promote peace and sustainable development and advocate for strong and vibrant civil society.

International Peace Bureau, IPB

International Peace Bureau (IPB) is a global network of 300 member organisations in 70 countries. It is dedicated to the vision of a World Without War. Its current main programme centres on Disarmament for Sustainable Development and it promotes the Global Campaign on Military Spending. The International Peace Bureau is a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate 1910.

Abolition 2000

Abolition 2000 is an international global network of organisations and individuals working for a global treaty to prohibit and eliminate nuclear weapons.

Campaign to Stop Killer Robots

The Campaign to Stop Killer Robots is a coalition of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that is working to ban fully autonomous weapons and thereby retain meaningful human control over the use of force.

Cluster Munition Coalition, CMC

The Cluster Munition Coalition is an international civil society campaign working to eradicate cluster munitions, prevent further casualties from these weapons, and put an end to the suffering they cause.

European Network Against Arms Trade, ENAAT

The European Network Against Arms Trade connects groups and individuals who see the arms trade as a threat to peace, security and development, and the arms industry as a driving force behind increasing arms trade. Through research, publication, lobby and public campaigning ENAAT groups are working to limit or end the international arms trade.

EU-Russia Civil Society Forum

EU-Russia Civil Society Forum is a network of thematically diverse non-governmental organisations from Russia and the EU. The goal of the Forum is to strengthen cooperation between civil society organisations and to contribute to the integration between Russia and the EU, based on common values of pluralistic democracy, rule of law, human rights and social justice.

International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons, ICAN

The International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) is a coalition of non-governmental organizations in one hundred countries promoting adherence to and implementation of the United Nations nuclear weapon ban treaty. ICAN is a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate 2017.

International Campaign to Ban Landmines, ICBL

The International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL) is a global network of non-governmental organizations, active in some 100 countries, that works for a world free of antipersonnel landmines, where landmine survivors can lead fulfilling lives. ICBL is a Nobel Peace Prize Co-Laureate 1997.
